The first room we tackled when we moved was to get Avery's room finalized and situated. Go figure that the tiniest family member (minus Lexi who sleeps in a 2ft by 2ft box) got her room done first. As you can see in the before pictures, the previous owners painted the trim the same ugly beige color that is on the walls...Why you ask? Great question friends, one that I have asked out loud to the home decor gods numerous times! Didn't they know that trim is supposed to be white, crisp and clean?! Regardless, we will be repainting trim in this house for the next 7 years I suppose. One room at a time :)
We also painted her walls the same color her nursery was in Houston, plus finally hung her curtains, changed out the light fixture for her chandelier, etc.. Really the only thing I would like to add would eventually be a rug on her floor now that she is in a room with hardwoods. Just makes it cozier, and I would love for her to have a place to play in her own room.

Can't wait for more before and afters! Hopefully the den will be done sooner rather than later. This home remodeling thing is not so great for those who struggle with patience :)
