Burton- 10 Months!

Well I guess I should start planning your birthday.  Double digits, are you kidding me?!

Burton here are your stats at 10 months:

Weight, length and head circumference: won't have an update until you are a year old.

Sleep: I have resigned myself that you will never be a great napper.  I imagine that if you didn't always fall asleep in the car taking sister to and from school three days a week you MIGHT be a little bit better, but I wouldn't hold my breath.  That's ok, being the second child, you've gotta learn to go with the flow.  I really can't complain, you are a fantastic night sleeper.  But, when you're ten and I have never finished your baby book you will know the reason why, never a quiet moment ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Eating: You've given some baby food another shot, but mostly still prefer to eat real food.  Green beans, green peas, and bread are your go to favorites.  You also LOVE cheese.  You've graduated from puffs to Cheerios, which saves us a small fortune.  The person who came up with puffs is a genius, and subsequently a millionaire I'm sure.   You nurse twice a day and take a bottle around lunchtime, but I think you are ready to mostly be done... Mommy isn't ready to quit. ๐Ÿ˜”

Likes: your favorite person in the entire world is your sister.  You laugh at everything she does, and you love to play in the playroom with her.  You have a very patient and loving big sister; you are one lucky little boy.  You are still a bit of a Mommy's boy, but your face lights up when Daddy walks into the room.  You love to eat, and we are told that in Sunday school you steal your friends' puffs and take them all for yourself.  You are a busy little thing.  Put you in the playroom and you can play for almost two hours, as long as Mommy is around.

Dislikes: I would say napping is pretty high up on your list.

Diaper size: 4

Clothes size: 12-18 months

Milestones: you just this past weekend started playing peek-a-boo, covering your face with toys when we asked, "where's Burtie?" Not a milestone, but over Thanksgiving you started dancing whenever music comes on, so stinking cute.  You have finally said "mama" only once and mixed in with a lot of other babbling, but I'll take it!  You have started saying "bye bye" and waving more frequently.  You also have learned how to climb steps... All the way to the top ๐Ÿ˜

We love you little man.
