2012 in Review

I think I can go on record and say that this year has been the best one yet.   We welcomed our precious daughter into this world in May, and although we have spent this past year raising our baby girl hundreds of miles away from our families and friends, I feel so incredibly blessed for all the challenges, triumphs, heartaches, and moments of pure joy this year has brought us.  While it hasn't been a year without sadness; M and I both lost maternal grandmothers, and my family lost our sweet Aunt Shirley abruptly in October, we still feel immensely humbled by all of God's blessings.  We cannot wait to see what 2013 brings!

January:

Ash and Laura came to celebrate the New Year with us in Houston!

Our sweet friends Charles and Cara came to see us for MLK day :)

Mom and Ash came to celebrate Mom's birthday here!

We were thrown a couple's shower in Nashville by Aimee, and Heather and Russ

And Avery was showered upon again thanks to so many women at Harpeth Hills.... And thanks to Avery's "Honey" who did almost everything!
